Where does Memories In Stills offer photography sessions?
Memories In Stills is based in Loves Park, Illinois, and provides photography services throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Common service areas include Rockford, Loves Park, Madison, Wisconsin Dells, Lake Geneva, Galena, and surrounding communities. Sessions in other locations may also be available upon request.
Do you travel to different locations for photography sessions?
Yes! Memories In Stills is a location-based photography service. Whether you're planning a family outing, celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a vacation, or gathering with loved ones, I can photograph your experience at an agreed-upon location.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! Sessions are designed around the experiences and locations that matter to you. This might be a park, attraction, family gathering, vacation destination, or even your own home. Locations must permit the planned photography, and any required admission fees or permissions should be arranged in advance.
Are there additional travel fees?
Travel is included in the published Wisconsin Dells vacation photography packages. For other sessions, additional travel charges may apply depending on the location and distance. Any applicable fees will be discussed before booking so there are no unexpected charges.
Can you photograph our family at an amusement park, attraction, or other venue?
Yes, provided the venue permits the photography session. Some attractions and private properties require advance authorization or have restrictions on professional photography. We'll review those requirements before confirming the session.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our session?
Because many Memories In Stills sessions take place outdoors, weather is always a consideration. Light rain, snow, or changing conditions don't necessarily mean your session needs to be canceled, especially if they're part of the experience you want to remember.
However, if severe weather or unsafe conditions make photography impractical, we'll discuss reasonable alternatives, such as adjusting the session time, choosing a suitable indoor location, or rescheduling when possible.
I understand that vacations, family gatherings, and special occasions aren't always easy to reschedule. I'll work with you to find a practical solution whenever possible, with any changes subject to the booking agreement.
